Yesterday was my 16th birthday. But we had my family party on Tuesday because on Wednesdays we have church. So my dad and I went out to Ruths Chris and we split a new york strip steak. Then we went home where my mom and my two brothers were preparing a cake and the presents. The cake was so good and i got four presents. One was Seinfeld season 1&2 on dvd, a cd player, a computer game, and finally a big book. It was good fun.

Today is Tuesday, November 31st, 2004. Today my dad may lose his job which would suck because then he would have to find a new job and that could take a while. I finally got a 24-pack of coke last night and for like two weeks I'm finally waking up with a coke which is a good thing. I think it makes me more alert and less tired. Yesterday I decided to take the bus home but mom came and picked me up but it took her a lot of time for her to get their so I got really cold. When I got home i had some hot cocoa and was surfing the web and doing AIM. I might post later today during flex. see ya then!

I've been very busy the past week. So busy I didn't even post anything for this blogs first birthday. This blogs birthday was August 18, 2004. I started last year because my dad said it would be good practice for my writing skills. I might also use this if I become a newspaper writer maybe I could use this as a reference. This is my last week of work and next week on the 31st I go back to school. I'm going to a be a sophmore in highschool this year. I'm very excited to see my friends and to start what I believe will be a GREAT year. I've been watching some of the olympics. I've watched womens volleyball, womens beach volleyball, swimming and gymnastics. These have all been pretty good and USA has won a few of these. Right now my cousins, my aunt, and my uncle on my dads side are all visiting us. They live in California and my brother is now in California visiting my grandma and my dads side. Last night he called home crying so I hope he is doing better this morning. It is kind of hard the first night away from home but I think that he will be fine this morning. I might call him while I'm at work today, to see how hes doing. Also Mr. Ball (my favorite teacher) left and is being replaced by a female latin teacher. I hope she is good and laid back like mr. Ball, if not were in for a llloooonnnngggg year.
well i might blog later tonight!
until then, see ya

Today I went to work earlier than usual because I was leaving going to leave early for the cabin in Douglas County, Wisconsin. When I got their I just sat their so I would not disturb the careful process of Science Museum Drop-off procedures (Hardy-Har). I then went and punched in at 12:25. I waited until parents started dropping kids off for the 1:00 pm classes. This usually starts around 12:35. Well when I was finished I went to the class I'm assisting (Get Set to be a Vet). Today the teacher brought two toads. One that could be petted and one that was mean, so it couldn't be petted. We also made a white blood cell and red blood cells. The cake was white and the white blood cell was blue frosting and the plasma was purple frosting. The red blood cells were red-hots. I luckily got a piece and it was very good. At 3 pm my class ended and I signed most of them out and a few went to supervised space. Afterwards I waited out at drop-off for the Camp Wabasha kids. I then helped walk kids to their cars when they had been signed out by their counselors. At about 3:50 the crowd seemed to calm down. Then at 4 pm the crowd got wild again. Because about 5-6 classes get out at the same time. At 4:15 pm most of the counselors were off for the day and I got their clipboards and had to watch all the kids that were left over. It was not that bad because lots of kids had already left. Then at around 4:23 when all the kids had left I hung out in supervised space until my shift was over. My mom came to pick me up and my mom drove cause she couldn't take it with me driving. Tomorrow, is this blog's first birthday. Tomorrow I will post a bunch of articles for that special day. Well I'm going to play baseball tonight with two brothers and my neighbor. I might post scores tomorrow from the game. I'll see you tomorrow!

I'm sorry I haven't posted lately i've been very busy with work and with my life. But anyways now there are just two days until this blogs first birthday. I'm pretty excited about that. I have now heard that Mr. Ball is being replaced by some lady that Mrs. Vitt interviewed IN LATIN!! I hope she is not like Mrs. Vitt and is somewhat like Mr. Ball, although I seriously doubt she will be anything like Mr. Ball. He was very unique and I'm gonna miss him.

There are now 6 days left till this blog turns 1 years old. Today, I watched the little league series on ESPN2. I have been doing this everyday lately. Little League is a lot better than Major League cuz the Little Leaguers are not as wimpy as MLB players. Today, I went to work and had a pretty good day. It was very nice out today, around 70 and I could actually sit outside for 30 minutes without freezing my ASS off. I'm also glad I'm not home alone anymore. I missed my dad and maybe my mom, but mostly my dad. So I will write more tomorrow. Till then, goodbye and may God help you all!

Today I went to work at the Science Museum. It was a pretty good day, but was cold and windy with some scattered sprinkles of rain. It was a fairly boring day, filling up waterballoons and playing foursquare with kids. Also signing in and signing out kids when they came and when they went away. Yesterday (August 11), my friend Nate and I were throwing waterballoons at cars and people walking by and it was all in good fun until I threw a waterballoon at a red SUV and suddenly he turned around and stopped and ran up to our door. While this was happening, my friend and I were hiding in my dining room and I heard a smashing sound and thought he just banged on the door. Well when he had left my friend and I discovered that he had broken a window in our front door. I then spent about 10 minutes taping and sweeping up the glass. Yeah that sucked a lot. Well in other news this blog is turning 1 years old in 7 days from today. So thats cool. Well thats all the news and stuff I got to talk about now so I'll write more tomorrow.

June 1st, 2004

This week is final examination week at Minnehaha Academy. So far i have had 3 out of 5 of all the finals I'm going to have. I've had a final in Latin I, Reading Bible, and Algebra. Tomorrow, (June 2nd) i have absolutely no finals! (Thank God). I am happy that school is getting out because that means that i get to start my first job at the science museum. I have job training this saturday (June 5th) and I have heard from others that you just play games and talk about what it will be like. I know I will miss the many friends I have made, but I might see them over the summer. Like I might go up to chuck's cabin so he can teach me how to "Play" basketball. My dad is gone till tomorrow night. He is North Dakota and if he tells us where he is going he would have to "kill" us. My brother Joe (11 years old) has a baseball game and i am the official scorer for the team which is called the Mustangs. I have to sign off now but i will make a new blog tomorrow if i have time.

Pete Townshend's famous guitar smashing was not just a visual spectacle, but had a musical purpose: he was selfconscious in his assertion of rock as a legitimate art form.
"I think the most important musical development we've made in pop music is in free-form music which does exactly what it wants. We don't allow our instruments to stop us doing what we want.... We smash our instruments, tear our clothes and wreck everything. The expense doesn't worry us because that would be something which would get between us and our music...So I don't have a love affair with a guitar, I don't polish it after every performance; I play the fucking thing."
